The problem with traditional press-packed/heat cured dentures is distortion. As the acrylic hardens during the curing cycle, it shrinks slightly and loses volume, which causes the denture base to pull away from the gums. Even a small amount of shrinkage can create tiny air gaps between the denture and your tissue — leading to a looser, less secure fit.

Immediate Dentures are seated immediately after teeth extractions.

If teeth need to be removed, we can make your new dentures in advance so you never have to go without teeth. You’ll walk out with your new denture the same day your extractions are done.

As you heal, your gums and bone will gradually change, which affects the way your dentures fit. During this time, you’ll typically need one or two soft relines to keep things comfortable and secure. Once healing is complete, a final hard reline will provide a better, long-term fit.

A replacement denture is made after your gums and bone have completely healed from

any previous extractions or tooth loss. This allows your final denture to be crafted on a stable foundation, ensuring a more precise fit and natural appearance.
